Bad Sounds have dropped two exciting new singles at the same time. At TMR, our personal favourite of the two is ‘Angie’. The two-piece allow gentle piano and minimalistic synths to make up the majority of the track’s accompaniment, with simple chord changes and rhythms playing second fiddle to an excellent lead vocal. The track’s subtle build introduces a sustaining synth and the slow funk of a distant drum kit; again, minimalistic arrangements are working perfectly here. ‘Angie’ and its sister track ‘Gravity Love’ are both taken from their current five-track EP, Escaping From A Violent Time, Vol 2. -Dan Peeke
